Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment is seeking a recently qualified ACA, ACCA or CPA accountant for a corporate finance advisory role in Co. Meath. You will work on business valuations, due diligence, M&A projects and financial modeling, with exposure to business owners and senior decision-makers.

The role offers hybrid working, ongoing professional development and a 10% bonus, with a salary in the €55,000–€65,000 range and 21 days holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong financial accounting and analytical skills.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with business valuations for owner-managed businesses and SMEs.
• Support financial due diligence assignments.
• Assist with merger and acquisition projects.
• Prepare financial analysis to support investment and transaction decisions.
• Contribute to business plans, funding applications and information memoranda.
• Carry out industry, market and competitor research.
• Prepare financial models and cashflow forecasts.
• Analyse historical financial performance and future projections.
• Review management accounts and financial statements as part of advisory assignments.
• Assist in identifying key commercial and financial risks.
• Participate in client meetings alongside senior team members.
• Prepare reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Support Directors and Managers in delivering high-quality advisory services.
• Maintain project files and supporting documentation.
• Assist with the preparation of corporate finance reports and presentations.
• Develop technical expertise through training and professional development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across audit, accounts and tax departments.
