Job summary

European Tech Recruit is partnering with a global semiconductor leader to hire a Core Platform SoC Infrastructure Engineer in Cork, Ireland. This permanent, on-site role focuses on developing low-level device drivers and collaborating with hardware teams across ARM and DSP-based processors.

You will also build automation in Python to streamline driver workflows and contribute to hardware/software interface improvements. 1–5 years in embedded software with strong C skills are expected.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C.
• Knowledge of ARM and/or RISC‑V architecture is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support low-level device drivers directly controlling hardware — digital clocks, voltage regulators, GPIOs, and interrupts.
• Collaborate closely with hardware designers to understand, improve, and implement hardware/software interfaces.

We are partnered with a global leader in semiconductor and wireless technology innovation. The team is looking to hire a Core Platform SoC Infrastructure Engineer to develop low-level device drivers at the hardware/software interface, working directly with hardware designers across ARM and DSP-based processors.

This is a permanent, fully onsite opportunity based in Cork, Ireland.
