Job summary

MACE Kildimo in County Limerick is seeking a Full Time Cook / Deli Assistant to join our busy forecourt deli team. Morning or evening shifts available, starting early to late hours.

Responsibilities include serving customers with a friendly, efficient manner, ensuring hygiene standards (HACCP) are followed, and maintaining product presentation and stock. You will work as part of a team to deliver quality deli foods.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are important.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety principles is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• To serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner and provide an exceptional standard of customer care
• To communicate with customers in an effective and welcoming manner
• Ensure deli foods are prepared, cooked and served in line with Food Hygiene requirements and current promotions
• Maintain knowledge of current deli sales and promotions and assist customers with queries
• Deal with customer complaints professionally and refer to the Store Manager when appropriate
• Monitor HACCP records, temperatures and ensure food safety controls are followed
• Support stock management and maintain store presentation and cleanliness
• Work as part of a team and take initiative to improve service quality
