Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Chief Operations Officer based in Dublin with a minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior operations role within a multinational financial services company. The role involves leading strategic operations and ensuring strong operational functionality across multiple initiatives. Candidates with a background in Insurance and a relevant master's degree will be preferred. This position offers a competitive salary of €150k plus a package of €50k+.

Chief Operations Officer

Dublin

This international financial services group are continuing to grow and have commenced on an exciting transformation programme. They have restructured their senior management level to further drive the change agenda in the organisation and deliver impressive goals across the next 5 years. This role will be pivotal to this as it will reach across the whole operations area. With 4 "Heads of" reporting into you within a matrix structure.

Your role will include; leading the strategic operations reporting to the CEO. Responsibility for all operational initiatives, across Projects, Systems, Transformation, Outsourcing, Procurement and Processes. Working with internal and group level stakeholders to deliver on the key strategic goals. Working with Risk, Compliance and Product development to ensure new product releases are operationally strong. Deliver technology projects and operational projects, ensuring best practice within a continuous improvement culture.

To take up this position it is essential you have no less than 10 years as a Senior operations leader within a Multinational Financial services company. Preference will go to those with a track record in Insurance. You will have a particularly strong track record in systems and technology projects, having delivered a number in your career to date. You will have completed a relevant masters programme and a 2nd European language would be a distinct advantage.
