Job summary

Ground Control in Ireland is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to support the delivery of contracts across Ireland. You will lead field teams, maintain high standards, and build strong customer relationships, with a clear pathway toward a Contract Manager role.

The role offers exposure to surveying, estimating and contract delivery, with ongoing development from experienced leaders and a company vehicle provided. This is a permanent position based in Limerick and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in Grounds Maintenance, Landscaping, Arboriculture or similar outdoor environment.
• Experience leading operational teams or crews.
• Good understanding of site standards and service delivery.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site inspections and quality audits.
• Support surveying and quoting for additional works.
• Manage and support field teams and subcontractors.
• Build strong customer relationships.
• Coordinate labour, materials and resources.
• Drive high standards of safety, quality and service delivery.
• Support contract performance and identify improvement opportunities.
