Job summary

Synergy Recruitment Partners is seeking an experienced Industrial Contracts Manager to oversee key operate & maintain contracts across Ireland in the water and wastewater sector. You will act as the primary liaison between the business and clients, driving operational excellence, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance across multiple sites.

You will lead cross-functional teams, support site managers, and provide commercial input on variations, pricing, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Level 7/8 Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven supervisory or management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Contract & client management: main client contact, monthly reports, billing accuracy, negotiate variations.
• Operational & team leadership: lead cross-functional teams, coach reports, objective setting, support site improvements.
• Commercial support: assist with estimating, pricing and contract variations.
• Safety & standards: drive compliance with Health & Safety policies and quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract & Client Management: Serve as the main client point of contact, prepare monthly reports, manage billing accuracy, and negotiate contract variations.
• Operational & Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, manage direct reports (coaching, reviews, objective setting), and support plant managers on site improvements.
• Commercial Support: Assist with estimating, pricing, and quantity surveying for contract variations.
• Safety & Standards: Drive compliance with Health & Safety policies and quality management systems (e.g., LRQA).

Key Requirements:

• Level 7/8 Degree in Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience in the water or wastewater industry.
• Demonstrated supervisory or management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and fluent English.
