Job summary

eir business talent is expanding its network of OT / IT Integration Engineers to support major infrastructure and, operational technology programmes across Ireland. This role bridges traditional IT with OT platforms, enabling secure data exchange and system integration, while collaborating with cybersecurity and operations teams.

The position requires working knowledge of SCADA/PLC/ICS and experience across IT and OT environments, with visibility of ISA-95 or IEC 62443 frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience across IT and OT environments.
• Understanding of SCADA, PLC, telemetry or industrial control systems.
• Networking knowledge covering LAN, WAN, firewalls and remote connectivity.
• Experience supporting system integration projects.
• Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of ISA-95, IEC 62443 or similar frameworks.
• Utilities, transport, manufacturing or energy sector experience.
• Exposure to cloud, data integration and cybersecurity technologies.

Responsibilities

• Integrate OT systems with enterprise IT platforms.
• Support secure data exchange between operational and business systems.
• Design and maintain network architectures across IT and OT environments.
• Assist with telemetry, historian and remote monitoring deployments.
• Support system upgrades, migrations and digital transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure and operations teams.
