Currently we have an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist with a specialism in Forensic Psychiatry to join a newly developed Low Secure Mental Health Service in Ireland. This purpose‑built service provides specialist care for adults with complex psychiatric conditions and forensic risks, focusing on recovery, rehabilitation and risk reduction.

The role offers the opportunity to work within a consultant‑led multidisciplinary team, providing clinical leadership and specialist psychiatric input for patients within a modern forensic setting. The service aims to deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based care while supporting individuals to safely transition to less secure environments.

The hospital has 50 beds with current occupancy of 17, offering a manageable caseload shared with the Clinical Director and supported by a junior doctor.
