Qualifications

• FRCPath or equivalent pathology qualification.
• Specialist Registration in Histopathology or eligibility for immediate registration in Ireland.
• Proven track record in diagnostic surgical pathology and subspecialty reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic reporting on surgical pathology specimens, biopsies, and cytopathology where applicable.
• Participate in site MDT meetings for cancer diagnosis, staging, and treatment planning.
• Offer expert consultative opinions on complex cases on request.
• Provide an autopsy service in line with regional requirements.
• Lead quality assurance and contribute to audit, governance and improvement projects.
