Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Ireland is seeking an experienced Construction Project Scheduler to join our on-site team. You will manage complex schedules for large-scale projects, review contractor programs, and ensure time impacts are identified early.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in planning, strong English communication, and proficiency with Primavera P6 and EVM. This full-time role requires coordinating multiple data sources and delivering clear progress reports to clients.

Responsibilities

• Support on-site scheduling team to review and report on time impacts and delays.
• Maintain and monitor the master schedule for the project.
• Prepare and monitor tasks ensuring alignment with the project schedule.
• Develop tender and contractual schedules, including KPIs for schedule accuracy.
• Create and manage the integrated work breakdown structure.
• Integrate contract packages into the master plan schedule.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and client.
• Analyze critical path and provide recommendations on schedule changes.
• Coordinate with contractors to verify project data and schedule updates.

Turner & Townsend is looking for an experienced Construction Project Scheduler to join our team.The ideal candidate will have a track record of working on complex large scale construction projects as well aswithin one or more of the following: Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, BioTech, Oil & Gas, Industrial, Logistics, Manufacturing, Chemicalor similarly complex asset type.

This is a Full-time site based role (5 Days per week).

Job Objectives

• Support on site scheduling teamto review internal schedules, review contractor's schedules, analyse, review, validate and report on any time impacts, scope change impacts or delay enabling early identification of risks
• Maintain and monitor master plan schedule
• Prepare and monitor tasks ensuring satisfactory realization of project requirements against the project schedule
• Supportthe development of the tender requirements and contractual requirements, including contractual KPl's in relation to schedule accuracy, achievement of key milestones and timely submission of programmes for the Core Contracts
• Develop and manage the integrated work breakdown structure for the project
• Integrate various contract packages into master plan schedule
• Review contractor's submitted schedule and make recommendations to client
• Prepare regular internal/external weekly and monthly progress report for management and client
• Monitor progress on key delivery milestones and report on compliance in line with the agreed Baseline Programme
• Interact with contractor and verify the project data to update project schedule
• Assess any contractor's extension of time claim and prepare defense claim report
• Put forward recommendation report for any contractor's EOT claim
• Analyze critical path and constraints to determine the effect of changes to project schedule
• Work out site logistic planning for project

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling, with a focus on complex construction projects, and preferably previous Industrial and Manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and EVM
• Experience in coordinating multiple sources of schedule performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project status reports required for large scale projects
• Strong managerial and stakeholder management experience
• Excellent command of English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Develops good working relationships with project team
• The tenacity and drive to inject value and create solutions
