Job summary

Glenman Corporation Ltd. is seeking an experienced Construction Programme Planner to join our Galway head office, supporting high-profile projects across Ireland and the UK. You will develop baselines, monitor progress, and prepare EOT claims in collaboration with site teams.

The role requires 3–5 years in planning/delay analysis and proficiency with Asta, Primavera P6, or MS Project, plus knowledge of PW-CF, NEC or JCT contracts. Galway-based with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a planning and/or delay analysis role within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in planning software (Asta Powerproject and/or Primavera P6 essential).
  • Strong working knowledge of standard forms of contract, particularly Public Works Contracts (PW-CF series) and/or NEC/JCT forms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain baseline and progress programmes using industry-standard planning software (e.g. Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6, or MS Project)
  • Prepare tender programmes and method statements to support bid submissions
  • Monitor progress on site against baseline programmes and update programmes on a regular basis
  • Identify, analyse, and report on delays and disruption events, including preparation of delay analysis reports (e.g. time impact analysis, as-planned vs as-built, windows analysis)
  • Prepare Extension of Time (EOT) claims and supporting documentation in accordance with contract conditions (e.g. Public Works Contracts, NEC, JCT)
  • Liaise with site management, commercial, and design teams to ensure programmes reflect current project status and risk
