Job summary

Sisk Group is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join our on-site project team in Cork. You will provide direct operational support to project teams, ensuring health, safety, environment, quality and wellbeing standards are applied across the site.

You will lead safety leadership, risk management, training and reporting, driving a proactive safety culture while coordinating with project managers, engineers and supervisors on safety requirements and compliance.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in occupational health and safety.
• Professional membership of IOSH.
• Experience managing safety teams on large construction projects.
• Postgraduate qualification in health and safety (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the health and safety function on assigned projects.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
• Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks and training sessions to staff and subcontractors.
• Prepare and present safety reports to project leadership and track corrective actions.
