Powerscourt Hotel Resort & Spa is seeking a Conference and Banqueting Supervisor to lead outlet staff, oversee guest orders, and maintain strong relationships with colleagues. The role covers restaurant, lobby lounge, pub and banqueting operations to ensure smooth service and memorable events.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality essential.
• Strong command of English, written and spoken.
• Ability to prioritise and organise work effectively.
• Ability to delegate tasks and supervise teams.
• Basic knowledge of wine and food service.
• High attention to detail in all activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee activities of outlet staff including restaurant, lobby lounge, pub and banqueting.
• Expedite guest orders and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.
• Ensure hotel standards are consistently applied and monitored.
• Delegate tasks and conduct regular staff inspections for hygiene.
• Supervise setup, presentation and storage to meet safety standards.
• Monitor cash handling, settle outstanding bills and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Train, guide and coach team members; ensure opening/closing duties are completed.
• Ensure steps of service and policies are followed daily; learn the POS system.
