Job summary

Davy is seeking a Compliance Senior Associate to join its Risk division. The role involves supporting regulatory advisory work, monitoring activities for regulatory compliance, and driving management information through dashboards and metrics.

You will engage with internal stakeholders, assist with reporting to Committees, Boards and Regulators, and help ensure all marketing and business materials meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ financial services experience, ideally in a Risk, Compliance or Audit role.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Curious and inquiring nature with ability to challenge collective thinking.
  • Strong information technology capability with a high level of competence in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and ideally Power BI.
  • Strong planning and organisational capabilities with ability to work to strict deadlines;
  • ACOI or QFA qualified or equivalent, or working towards same.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting senior compliance staff in the provision of regulatory advice to the business.
  • Assisting with the monitoring of business activities to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory obligations.
  • Leveraging technology to develop meaningful management information, including dashboards, KRI’s and other metrics as appropriate.
  • Assisting with the regulatory aspects of business projects, as required.
  • Assisting with the collation of information for internal and external reporting, including to Committees, Boards and Regulators, working with the wider Compliance Team, including the Head of Compliance, as required.
  • Reviewing business documentation, advertisements, presentations and other marketing material to ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements.

About the role

An exciting opportunity hasopened upas a Compliance Senior Associate in our Risk division. This role will give the successful candidate an opportunity to develop their knowledge and experience of financial services regulation and implementation in a fast paced and dynamic regulatory environment.

They will assist experienced compliance professionals in the day to day management of issues arising on the team with a view to ultimately providing advice to business colleagues on the regulatory obligations governing their business area(s), including MiFID, CPC and SFDR in particular.

In the role, the successful candidate will:
