Job summary

IC Resources in Ireland is seeking a Compiler Software Engineer to join a specialist team developing the toolchain for high‑performance embedded processors.

You will design, implement and maintain compiler functionality in modern C++, develop backend features, optimise code generation and work closely with architecture and hardware engineers to support new processor capabilities and fix performance issues.

Qualifications

• Understanding of compiler design, optimisation techniques, intermediate representations, or computer architecture.
• Commercial or research experience in compiler engineering, systems software, or low-level programming.
• Strong C/C++ development skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain compiler functionality using modern C++.
