Job summary

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) is recruiting for Social Care Assistants at Grangebeg. We offer permanent full-time, permanent part-time, and 12-month fixed-term contracts. Hours are 40 per week for full-time and 20 per week for part-time; specify hours on application.

Salary ranges from €34,884 to €43,193 per annum. Garda Vetting and police clearance are required; a full driving licence and own car are essential. Equal opportunities employer.

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum of a QQI Level 5 Major Award or equivalent qualification in Community/Health or Social Care.
• Have 1 year experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
• Understand current policy and developments at national/sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services.
• Able to follow plans and methods to meet ongoing needs of individuals supported.
