Job summary

FRS Recruitment in Ireland is seeking experienced Home Support Workers for a permanent position with a leading Home Care Provider. Salary €33,529 per annum with flexible working hours and travel between clients’ homes.

As a Home Support Worker you will deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care in clients’ homes, supporting daily living activities and promoting independence. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are required; day/evening/weekend shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Health or Social Care, including supporting individuals with disabilities and/or older people.
• Healthcare qualification equivalent to QQI Level 5 or higher.
• Qualified Nurses and Level 7 Social Care candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience providing personal care to clients in home settings.
• Good knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.
• Strong English language skills, spoken and written.
• Full clean driving licence with access to a vehicle.
• Availability for day, evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
• Providing emotional, social and practical support.
• Supporting clients according to individual care plans.
• Promoting independence, dignity and choice.
• Maintaining accurate records and detailed reports.
• Following infection prevention and control procedures.
• Adhering to organisational policies and procedures.
• Traveling between clients' homes to deliver scheduled care and support.
