Manor Homecare in Ireland is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to deliver compassionate, person‑centred care in clients’ homes and our residential settings. This full‑time role covers Arklow, Wicklow, Bray and Greystones, with flexible shifts designed to help clients stay independent, safe and comfortable at home.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support (or relevant modules) preferred.
• Full, clean driving license and own car.
• Previous experience in healthcare or home care setting.
• Compassionate, flexible, and committed to delivering high standards of care.
• Strong time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients by performing general healthcare assistant duties in line with client care plans and business needs.
• Assist clients with personal care, including dressing, washing, toileting, and mobility support.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, encouraging independence and well-being.
• Support with meal preparation, feeding, and household tasks such as light cleaning and laundry.
• Assist with rehabilitation exercises and moving clients safely using mobility aids.
• Accurately document care activities and report any changes in client condition.
• Support Care Coordinators with covering in cases of sick leave, annual leave, or emergency call coverage.
• Assist Supervisors with delivery of PPE and equipment as required by the business.
• Support Quality Officers as needed to ensure compliance with care standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, infection control, and fire safety procedures.
