Job summary

CareChoice in Ireland is seeking full-time or part-time Healthcare Assistants to join our experienced team. You will support residents with holistic care, assist with personal needs, meals, mobility, and end-of-life care in a respectful, dignified manner.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a warm, caring attitude.
• Have a good level of English language skills.
• Availability to work varied shift patterns days, nights & weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support the nursing staff in providing high-quality holistic care to residents.
• Ensure residents hygiene/personal care needs are maintained with dignity.
• Assist residents with eating and drinking in line with their nutrition needs.
• Assist residents with mobilizing using correct aids.
• Escort or transfer residents as directed by nursing staff.
• Assist in End-of-Life Care.
• Any other duties deemed necessary by nurse and management.
