Job summary

Beechtree Nursing Home in Dublin is seeking compassionate Care Assistants to join our nursing team and support residents with daily activities, promoting their dignity, privacy, independence and wellbeing.

You will work closely with nursing staff to assist with mobility, personal care and nutrition, maintain a clean, safe environment, and follow infection control policies while developing respectful relationships with residents.

Qualifications

• Experience working in care of older people.
• Kind, caring and compassionate nature.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong commitment to providing person-centered care.
• FETAC Level 5 / QQI Level 5 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (mobility, hygiene, nutrition).
• Support nursing staff in delivering high-quality, resident-focused care.
• Maintain residents' privacy, dignity and independence.
• Report concerns and hazards to nurse in charge.
• Keep accurate care records and follow policies and procedures.
