Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care invites applications for a Children’s Community Nurse in the Tralee area. This part-time role (8am–2pm, Mon–Fri) supports a 4-year-old child with complex care needs in a school setting, delivering safe, compassionate paediatric nursing in the community.

Full training, paid shadow shifts and clinical support are provided by BAYADA’s experienced team to ensure high-quality, child-centred care.

Qualifications

• Current NMBI registration (RCN or RGN) required.
• Paediatric nursing experience in acute or community settings preferred.
• Empathy-driven, child-centred care approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to a 4-year-old boy with complex care needs in a school setting.
• Deliver personalised paediatric care in the community, working with school staff and families.
• Participate in ongoing training and clinical support via BAYADA's team.

This role is ideal for Paediatric Nurses, Community Nurses, RGNs, or RNIDs with paediatric experience who want to provide meaningful, child-centred care in the community.

Role details

• Hours: Part-time
• Shifts: Days, Monday to Friday (8am-2pm)

Requirements

• Current NMBI registration — RCN or RGN
• Minimum 1 year acute paediatric or relevant experience
• Eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland without sponsorship
