Job summary

Right at Home Ireland seeks a Homecare Supervisor in Kildare to oversee care quality, support healthcare assistants and ensure person-centred client care. The role requires strong supervision, assessment and planning skills, with travel across the CHO7 Kildare area.

Salary €34,000–€36,000 per annum, full-time, permanent. Monday–Friday with travel, training and development opportunities, and a supportive management team.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 6 qualification in Healthcare, Health or Social Care, Management or related discipline.
• 3–5 years in homecare, healthcare or social care with supervisory/leadership experience.
• Experience supervising care staff and managing client care plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments and care reviews.
• Develop, implement and review individualised care plans.
• Complete risk assessments and support client safety and wellbeing.
• Monitor care quality and ensure consistent service delivery at clients' homes.
• Respond to concerns promptly and escalate when needed.
• Promote dignity, independence and quality of life for clients.
• Provide day-to-day support, guidance and mentoring to Healthcare Assistants.
• Conduct spot checks, competency assessments and performance reviews.
• Identify training needs and support staff development.
• Maintain positive relationships and effective communication within the team.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and HIQA standards and company policies.
• Travel throughout the Kildare area to support clients and staff.
