The Communications & Operations Coordinator will play a key role in leading the marketing and communications strategy for VSI. They will play an instrumental part of the operations team with responsibility for amplifying the importance of sport and physical activity for people who are blind and vision impaired as well as the array of programme offerings provided by VSI. The successful candidate will collaborate with key stakeholders including National Governing Bodies for Sport to coordinate programmes and highlight achievements of VSI members.
Increasing awareness of the health promotion and education offerings will be a key objective to meet actions set out in our strategic plan.
The successful candidate will work closely with the National Sports Development Manager and members of the wider team to build the Vision Sports Ireland brand, promote programmes, initiatives, and partnerships. This candidate should be a highly motivated, creative and innovative professional. The appointee will be responsible for managing social media and website content which have become an integral part of the organisations growth.
This post is permanent based on a successful 6-month probation and will have hybrid working opportunities.
