A key client in the Industrial Manufacturing sector is seeking a Global Commodity Manager Electronics to join their rapidly expanding team. They are currently in the midst of an exciting transformation journey, making this a great opportunity to make a significant impact.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and communicate commodity business objectives.
2. Manage the component portfolio and strategic purchasing activities related to electronic components throughout their lifecycle.
3. Supplier selection and relationship management.
4. Support cost modeling analysis as applicable.
5. Manage relationships and partnerships with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.
6. Implement improved sourcing methods, tooling optimization, capability understanding, and supplier risk assessment.
7. Maximize purchasing efficiency, minimize supply disruptions, and reduce financial risks for the Business Areas.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum 5 years of strategic procurement experience.
• Extensive sourcing and industry knowledge in industrial and automotive sectors.
• Strong background in procurement with knowledge of electronics, components, and EMS.
• Managerial experience is desirable.
• Proven high performance with the ability to think creatively and highlight key achievements.
