We are currently working with a growing multinational in the construction/engineering industry, who are going through incredible growth and are looking for an experienced commercial accountant to join their finance team as a commercial finance manager. The role is initially office based in Kildare but flexibility once settled into the role.
Key Responsibilities
Management of Project Budgets, analysing project performance, as well as understanding reporting on variances to senior management.
Driving financial insights, and overall performance of the business.
Liaising with Quantity Surveyors on each Project to ensure that their Cost Value Reconciliations reports are reconciled against the original project’s budget.
Liaising with the Commercial team and the Accounts Payable team in respect to payment schedules and monthly cashflow projections.
Key Requirements of the Commercial Finance Manager
Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA), with a minimum of 4 years PQE.
Previous experience in a construction/engineering environment would be beneficial, but not essential.
Strong financial acumen and excellent communication skills dealing with non-finance people on a daily basis.
Good organizational skills as the ability to multitask on various projects at any one time will be required.
