Job summary

Morgan McKinley represents a multinational insurance company in Dublin seeking a commercially minded and analytical Finance Analyst to join the finance team.

The successful candidate will support financial planning, reporting, analysis and decision‑making across the business, with strong numerical skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
• Part-qualified or studying towards a professional accounting qualification is advantageous.
• Experience in finance, FP&A, accounting or related role.
• Experience in insurance or financial services environment desirable but not essential.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyse large data sets.
• Experience with financial reporting and/or ERP systems is beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to present financial information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Analyse performance and investigate variances against budget and forecasts.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting, including financial models consolidation.
• Prepare management reports and provide insightful analysis for decisions.
• Assist with financial presentations and reporting packs for senior management.
• Collaborate with finance and business teams for accurate financial data.
• Develop and maintain financial models and reporting tools.
• Analyse revenue, expenses, profitability and key metrics.
• Support improvement of financial processes, controls and procedures.
• Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and projects.
