Job summary

MongoDB is seeking an exceptional commercial lawyer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn’t afraid of lofty goals and challenges. You will handle contract negotiations and advise on a range of commercial issues important to MongoDB’s business.

Draft and negotiate cloud and licensing agreements, provide strategic legal advice to a rapidly growing sales organization and other teams, identify process improvements, and develop training materials to speed contracting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial transactions experience, preferably including technology licensing and cloud agreements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex contracts.
• Licensed in an appropriate jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Handle contract negotiations and advise on a range of commercial issues important to MongoDB’s business.
• Draft and negotiate cloud and licensing agreements, and other technology contracts.
• Provide strategic legal and business advice to a rapidly-growing sales organization and other teams within the sales ecosystem.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline negotiations and scale legal resources.
• Develop training resources to enable our sales team to navigate the contracting process effectively.
