Qualifications

Commercial Account Executive Gallagher Ireland is part of the Arthur J Gallagher Group, one of the largest insurance brokerages in the world. Due to ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a number of Commercial Account Executives based in our Dublin, Wexford, and Limerick offices. These are full-time, permanent roles.

How you'll make an impact
  1. Manage client, prospect, and relationship portfolios, providing appropriate insurance and risk management solutions.
  2. Negotiate with insurers to secure optimal coverage and terms that meet client requirements.
  3. Manage your workload to service client relationships effectively and complete placements within deadlines.
  4. Keep client information and sales plans up to date.
  5. Proactively build a sales pipeline to meet sales targets.
  6. Build strong working relationships and collaborate with other Gallagher teams, maintaining professionalism and respect.
  7. Manage renewals within required timelines, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  8. Obtain renewal information from clients for review and re-broking.
  9. Prepare and issue submissions to markets using online systems, written submissions, or calls to insurers.
  10. Prepare and issue client renewal terms and supporting policy documents, including debiting premiums as required.
  11. Maintain MCC compliance and CPD hours (4 hours quarterly).
  12. Ensure full disclosure of issues in line with compliance and legislative requirements, including CPC, AML/TF, F&P.
  13. Advise customers on policy wordings, conditions, and exclusions.
About you
  • Proven industry experience in an Account Executive role within a brokerage or insurance environment.
  • This is an MCC role; the minimum requirement is Certified Insurance Practitioner (CIP), with progress towards MDI qualification.
  • Extensive knowledge of the commercial insurance market, products, and services.
  • Strong understanding of client markets and insurance industry networks.
