Summary of Role

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Combilift / Machine / Forklift Driver to join our yard and logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating multi-directional forklifts to handle, move, and load precast concrete elements in a busy manufacturing and dispatch environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Combilift multi-directional forklifts to transport large and heavy precast concrete products within the yard and loading areas.
• Load and unload delivery trucks with precast units, ensuring product safety and correct placement.
• Work closely with the production and dispatch teams to ensure timely movement of products.
• Perform daily safety checks and routine maintenance on Combilift equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation for inventory movement and loading operations.
• Assist in organizing the yard to maximize space, efficiency, and safety.
• Follow all health and safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents immediately.
• Support other yard operations and general duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications / Requirements

• Previous experience working in a precast concrete or similar manufacturing facility, i.e. Construction, Manufacturing or Agricultural environments.
• Familiarity with handling large and awkward loads, preferably precast concrete or similar materials.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a yard or industrial setting.
• Ability to read and interpret load plans or product schedules.
• Ability to manage efficiently and work under own supervision.
• Enthusiastic and responsive approach.
• Full, clean driver’s licence.
• Manual Handling Certificate / Safe Pass.
• Valid Visa to work in the EU.

Working Conditions

Outdoor yard environment with exposure to weather, dust, and noise. Physical role requiring lifting, standing, and operating equipment for extended periods. Monday to Friday with occasional overtime or weekend work based on production needs.
