Job summary

Dawn Meats is seeking a Coldstore General Operative to join the production team in Kildare Town. The role involves safe storage of meat products, operating and maintaining cold storage equipment, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

You will perform tasks such as decanting meat with no bending, lifting boxes (up to 25 kg), and rotating stock to maintain freshness. Evening shifts Monday to Friday are available, with opportunities for development within the company.

Responsibilities

• Decanting meat (no bending involved).
• Lifting boxes, max weight 25kg, also lifting 20kg, 10kg boxes.
• Flipping trays and pushing trays, max 25kg.
• Using gas gun on packing to shrink material to fit the meat.
• Operate and maintain cold storage equipment and machinery
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of products to maintain quality and safety standards.
