Job description

Dromoland Castle Hotel is currently recruiting for an experienced Bar Person. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working in a 4* or 5* property. You must be passionate about people, about maintaining and driving standards and providing superb guest service. Overview of the Role:

• Working schedule is Monday - Sunday with a variety of shifts, due to the nature of our business, flexibility is required.
• Drinks service in the Cocktail Bar, Gallery and Drawing Room in the Castle.
• Assisting with the Gallery food menu and Afternoon Tea service.
• Opening and Closing Procedures.
• Assisting in the function bars of the Hotel when the need arises.
• The setup and service of private parties.
• Be actively involved in raising the profile of the Cocktail Bar departmentally, hotel and externally.
  
  

The Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum of 1 year experience preferably working in a 4* or 5*
• Must have excellent attention to detail.
• Must be well organised and have a level of high service standards.
• Have the ability to work under pressure.
• Have a friendly, chatty, and outgoing personality.
