Overview

KOSTAL IRELAND GmbH, is a global manufacturing business which manufactures electronic devices for the automotive industry. With over 700+ highly skilled people on our team here in Ireland, located in Abbeyfeale in Limerick and Mallow in Cork.


Project Title

Kostia Bench Tester - Smart Load Box


Purpose

The load box will enable the user to configure any load value (within acceptable ranges) for testing via Testman Endtest Software. A standalone application will also be developed so the load box can be utilised in other projects.


Key Responsibilities


  • Investigate, design, code and build test system software and hardware add-on

  • Design and build of interface for easy installation into current test hardware and software standard platforms

  • Design and build of interface for easy programming and reprogramming of device

  • Develop a proof of concept test sequence for testing, release and training

  • Coordinate training program and documentation to be used in roll out of the equipment

  • Liaise with Test and Software Development Engineers and use feedback as inputs to design and develop process
