Job summary

P & L Carpentry Limited, Trim, Co. Meath, Ireland, is seeking a CNC Operative for immediate start at their Trim facility. You will set up, operate and maintain CNC machinery for cardboard/box production, interpreting drawings, CAD/CAM files and job specs to ensure precise parts and timely deliveries.

Hiours are 39 per week with a gross annual remuneration of €36,605.00 (€18.05 per hour). A strong focus on quality, safety, and 5S principles is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience operating CNC machinery in packaging, woodworking or manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Basic understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery for box production.
• Interpret drawings, CAD files and job specifications to produce parts.
• Input, adjust, and monitor CNC programs for accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform tool changes, calibrations and minor maintenance tasks.
• Carry out quality checks and maintain production records.
• Ensure safe operation and 5S standards within the work area.
