Job summary

Takeda is seeking a CMC Lead for Launch Product in Small Molecules to guide CMC execution and lifecycle stewardship for a key asset. You will lead a global team across GSQ and Pharmaceutical Sciences, ensuring scientific excellence and optimal resource use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or life sciences.
• 10 to 15 years of pharmaceutical development and manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating globally in a matrixed organization.
• Experience defining strategy and roadmap for complex initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cross functional GSQ CMC team to support effective product development activities.
• Lead the GSQ CMC team to develop robust lifecycle management for key assets.
• Represent CMC matters within Takeda’s Global Product Teams.
• Provide strong leadership for initiatives which are complex or span multiple products.
• Accountable for scientific/CMC contents related to a SM asset with business impact.
• Resolve CMC issues with Pharmaceutical Sciences and GSQ as needed.
• Coordinate across MSAT, external sites, and Pharma Sciences for LCM alignment.
• Influence decisions to drive alignment and conflict resolution.
