Fruition Group Ireland is assisting a Dublin-based client in hiring a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect on a 6-month daily-rate contract with a hybrid working model.

The role focuses on designing secure, scalable cloud and container platform solutions, with hands-on experience in AWS and/or Azure, Kubernetes/OpenShift ROSA, and IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Strong documentation and cross-team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of architecture experience.

My Dublin based client is recruiting for a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect for a 6 month daily rate contract with a view to be extended working on a hybrid model. We are looking for an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to design and evolve secure, scalable cloud and container platform solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud infrastructure and platform solutions aligned with security and architectural standards.
• Provide practical guidance on cloud adoption, solution design and implementation.
• Design and support Kubernetes and container platforms, including Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA).
• Identify opportunities to improve cloud cost, performance, resilience and scalability.
• Create reusable architectural patterns and guardrails to accelerate safe cloud adoption.
• Work closely with engineering and DevOps teams and communicate designs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Have strong cloud-native architecture experience and hands‑on knowledge of AWS and/or Azure, alongside Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerised environments is important, with Red Hat OpenShift / ROSA particularly valuable.
• Strong understanding of cloud native architecture and enjoy solving complex problems in a practical, collaborative way.
• You are comfortable working with public cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure, and have hands‑on experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Python is also a differential.
• You value clear documentation and can explain technical concepts in a way that works for different audiences. Strong relationship building skills help you work effectively across teams and with partners.
