Job summary

Back 4 Good is seeking a talented Cloud Engineer in Terenure, Dublin to design, deploy and maintain cloud-based solutions across AWS and Azure within our IT infrastructure and DevOps team. You will automate deployments, monitor performance and security, and collaborate with software engineers and security teams to deliver scalable, compliant cloud platforms that support our growth.

This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid work flexibility and clear progression in a fast-growing Irish tech

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a cloud engineering or DevOps role.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes; scripting in Python or Bash.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud.
• Automate deployment processes with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and maintain system performance, availability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infra and application issues.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and security policies.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve infrastructure efficiency and reliability.
