Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager (Cloud Capacity) based in Ireland to own capacity planning and expansion across multiple data centers. You will turn consumption trends into infrastructure requirements and drive procurement, deployment, and availability with engineering and business teams.

The role combines quantitative analysis with program management across technical and business teams, influencing infrastructure readiness and scalability for cloud services.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical project/program management, data analytics, capacity planning, or a closely related field.
• Strong analytical background with the ability to work with quantitative data to guide decisions.
• Understanding of forecasting methodologies and their practical limitations.
• Ability to understand technical infrastructure constraints and communicate with engineers.
• Coordinating complex work across multiple independent teams without formal authority.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Ownership mindset with proactive risk management and follow-through.
• SQL querying experience is a plus.
• Monitoring/BI tools like Grafana or DataLens are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical and current cloud resource consumption to identify trends and capacity constraints.
• Build and maintain capacity forecasts for compute, storage, and other resources across data centers.
• Translate forecasts into concrete infrastructure requirements and resource needs.
• Initiate capacity requests and coordinate with Supply Chain for procurement and deployment.
• Maintain end-to-end view of capacity expansion projects from forecast to deployment and availability.
• Coordinate expansion plans with data center operations and deployment dependencies.
• Collaborate with engineering to plan and coordinate new capacity deployments.
• Track timelines, dependencies, risks, and blockers, driving resolutions.
• Provide stakeholders with clear, reliable capacity plans, timelines, and status updates.
• Own capacity outcomes by addressing challenges and ensuring follow-through.
