Job summary

Google is hiring a Technical Program Manager for Data Center Expansion. You will lead multi‑disciplinary projects across London and Dublin, shaping infrastructure strategy and execution. You’ll coordinate requirements, risks, and schedules while communicating with executives and engineers to balance tradeoffs and deliver scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes cloud‑infrastructure knowledge, collaboration with network and data center teams, and involvement in strategic expansions across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5 years of experience managing technical projects in a changing industry.
• Experience with data center or network infrastructure planning, evaluation and negotiations including new region launches.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi‑disciplinary projects from start to finish.
• Plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate with cross‑functional partners.
• Explain analyses and recommendations to executives as well as discuss technical tradeoffs with engineers.
• Collaborate with physical assets and engineering teams to identify optimal infrastructure solutions.
• Translate infrastructure needs into actionable specifications for planning and execution.
