We are hiring a Clinical Specialist Radiographer for PET/CT for our hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out daily primary responsibility for the PET/CT service and the efficient use of all allotted resources as a team leader.
  • Ensure the quality of services, including technical and customer support components.
  • Participate in creating and implementing operational rules, procedures, and guidelines to ensure efficient resource use and systematic audits.
  • Create and manage training programs for qualified staff, trainees, and students; oversee and evaluate training sessions.
  • Coordinate with the Head of Radiology on staff rotation to ensure sufficient qualified personnel.
  • Discuss human resources matters with the Head of Radiology when necessary.
  • Ensure staff understand and adhere to hospital regulations and safety protocols related to PET/CT.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies including infection control, IV policy, health and safety.
  • Participate in developing service plans and oversee their implementation; maintain accurate clinical data records.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance programs and keep records of equipment servicing, maintenance, malfunctions, downtime, and performance.
Requirements
  • BSc (Hons) or equivalent in diagnostic radiography.
  • Management courses are optional but preferred.
  • A postgraduate degree in the modality with at least three years of experience, or a minimum of six years of experience in the modality.
  • Knowledge of PET/CT, SPECT/CT, and radiopharmacy operations.
  • Ability to administer and cannulate intravenous needles.
