We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager - ICU in our hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities
  • Fill in as the CNM2/Clinical Coordinator's stand-in in their absence.
  • Actively report incidents and promote quality management incident reporting.
  • Recognize potential electrical, chemical, and transportation threats in the department and take preventative action.
  • Ensure the safe maintenance of equipment and report issues to the clinical coordinator or her designee.
  • Participate in the process of Joint Commissioning Accreditation (JCI).
  • Assist in preparing the hospital for the JCI survey.
  • Serve as a resource for senior nurse support in the ICU.
  • Encourage efficient interprofessional collaboration to maximize support, staff training, and patient care.
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse registration with NMBI.
  • A bachelor's degree in nursing; postgraduate credentials in critical care are preferred.
  • Essential certifications: ACLS; preceptorship experience is desired.
  • Five or more years of cardiothoracic or surgical ICU experience, with evidence of a beneficial impact on critical care.
  • Experience as a preceptor for students enrolled in adult critical care courses.
  • Fully funded private health insurance.
  • Starting bonus/relocation fee up to €5,000.
