ROLE PURPOSE
· Your primary function is to manage the Endoscopy service within the Day Unit Blackrock Clinic. There are endoscopy rooms within the Day Unit providing a planned and a direct access endoscopy service with allocated beds.
· The Clinical Nurse Manager 2 will, manage, plan, organise and co-ordinate all services relating to both direct and indirect care. The Nurse Manager will communicate with medical consultants, paramedical and appropriate senior administrative staff in your Unit and throughout the hospital.
· You must be on duty for the core hours of the endoscopy service.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Registered in the general division of An Bord Altranis.
· Have at least five years post registration experience in an Endoscopy setting.
· Have an appropriate qualification or management experience relevant to the post
· Evidence of personal professional development.
