Overview

Our client, Ireland’s largest private provider of nursing home care, is currently recruiting a Clinical Nurse Manager to join their dedicated team in Meath. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse with strong leadership skills to take the next step in their career in a supportive and progressive environment.

Role Overview

As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Director of Nursing in the day-to-day management of the home. You will lead and mentor a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care are consistently delivered to residents.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Director of Nursing in all clinical and operational aspects of the home
  • Providing leadership, guidance, and supervision to nursing and care staff
  • Ensuring compliance with HIQA standards and regulations
  • Monitoring, evaluating, and improving clinical standards of care
  • Managing staff rosters and contributing to workforce planning
  • Engaging with residents and their families to ensure individualised care plans are developed and maintained
Qualifications
  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMBI registration
  • Minimum 3 years post-registration experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory/management role
  • Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to person-centred care
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Experience in care of the elderly sector desirable
