Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a nurse.
• Over the course of two weeks, Candidate must work seven shifts.
• Experience managing nurses in a residential setting preferred.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Registered on the NMBI live register.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the highest standards of nursing and social care meeting individual resident needs and ensure home policies and best clinical standards are practiced.
• Collaborate with staff across areas to maintain standards.
• Identify concerns and follow up with the Director of Nursing to implement action plans.
• Review residents with pressure sores, falls, or clinically unwell and ensure appropriate management plans are in place.
• Troubleshoot ongoing clinical and non-clinical issues and escalate to the Director of Nursing.
• Perform comprehensive resident assessments and monitor ongoing assessments and modifications.

Responsibilities

• To ensure the delivery of the highest standards of nursing and social care which meet the individual needs of each resident by e nsuring that the home policies and best clinical standards are always practiced
  
• Working with different staff members in all areas to ensure that standards are maintained
  
• Identify areas that may be of concern and follow up with the Director of Nursing to put action plans put in place
  
• Reviewing residents with pressure sores /sustained falls / clinically unwell, through clinical practices and documentation to ensure an appropriate management plan is in place

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience
  
• Registered on the NMBI live register
