Job summary

A leading cleaning service provider in County Cork is looking for a part-time Cleaning Operative. Responsibilities include various cleaning duties such as vacuuming and dusting, alongside garbage disposal, polishing surfaces, and bathroom cleaning. Candidates should be comfortable working solo or in teams and have a good understanding of English. Experience is preferred but training will be provided. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a passionate team delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working alone and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritise and manage a changing workload.
• Cleaning experience preferred; training provided.
• Valid Visa to work in Ireland.
• Good understanding of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, and surface cleaning.
• Maintain tidiness in all areas.
• Handle rubbish disposal from bins.
• Polish surfaces when necessary.
• Scrub sinks, basins, and toilets.
• Clean windows and glass surfaces as needed.

About The Role

Bidvest Noonan is currently recruiting for a part-time Cleaning Operative .

Key responsibilities of a Cleaning Operative

• Cleaning duties to include vacuuming, dusting and cleaning, wiping surface areas and making sure all areas are neat and tidy

Performing general sweeping, scrubbing and mopping

Disposing of rubbish from bins and containers

Polishing if necessary

Scrubbing sinks, basins and toilets in bathrooms.

Cleaning windows, glass surfaces as required

Cleaning canteen and coffee stations , bathrooms , corridor , stairs etc.

Key requirements of a Cleaning Operative

• Comfortable working alone and as part of a team as required for the role
• Ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload
• Cleaning experience would be preferred however full training will be provided
• Valid Visa to work in Ireland
• A good understanding of English, both written and spoken
