Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cleaning Operative to maintain high cleaning standards at a corporate client site in Ireland. You will work to Sodexo standards, ensuring areas such as meeting rooms, toilets, kitchens and corridors are pristine. The role supports a welcoming environment and may involve both solo and team work.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience is helpful but not essential.
• Happy to work solo or in a team.
• Good spoken and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning to Sodexo standards across areas including walls up to 6 feet, floors, fixtures and fittings.
• Clean meeting rooms, toilets, showers and kitchenettes.
• Maintain high levels of personal hygiene, cleanliness and neatness; wear Sodexo uniform at all times.
• Adhere to workplace safety regulations and act in the interests of your safety and others.
• Assist with site preparation and presentation as directed by management.
• Attend training to maintain and improve standards.
• Keep all areas clean at all times and respond to reasonable requests from management.

What you'll do:

• To undertake all necessary cleaning to the Company’s standard as directed including walls (up to 6 feet), floors, fixtures & fittings,
• Undertake cleaning of meeting rooms, toilets, showers kitchenettes, meeting rooms
• To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene, cleanliness and neatness ensuring full Sodexo uniform is worn at all times;
• To comply with statutory and company regulations the work place
• To ensure you act in the interests of your own safety and the safety of others as all times;
• To assist as directed with all aspects of preparation and presentation of the site as per Company’s standard;
• To receive any training that is necessary to maintain and improve the standards of the establishment;
• To ensure all areas are kept clean at all times
• To attend to any reasonable request by management.
