Job summary

Sodexo Group is seeking a Part Time Cleaner to join our corporate client site in Ireland. This role is 20 hours per week across 5 days in a 7-day period, paying €14.80 per hour.

You’ll be part of a team where attention to detail makes a big difference and you’ll benefit from Sodexo’s employee benefits package. Responsibilities include cleaning reception, toilets, bedrooms, and communal areas; making beds; dusting, vacuuming, and reporting any hazards.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Health & Safety and following procedures at all times.
• Ability to use cleaning products safely and according to COSHH.
• Maintain high hygiene standards and infection prevention.
• Identify and report hazards or unsafe conditions promptly.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain reception and entrance areas.
• Clean and sanitise toilets and bathroom facilities.
• Clean bedrooms and other rooms throughout the house.
• Make beds and change bed linen.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep and mop floors.
• Clean furniture, surfaces and frequently touched areas.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste safely.
• Keep communal and shared areas clean and welcoming.
• Report damage, maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly.
• Complete other reasonable cleaning and housekeeping duties as required.

What you'll do:

• Cleaning and maintaining the reception and entrance areas
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets and bathroom facilities
• Cleaning bedrooms and other rooms throughout the house
• Making beds and changing bed linen
• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
• Cleaning furniture, surfaces, doors and other frequently touched areas
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
• Keeping communal and shared areas clean, tidy and welcoming
• Maintaining corridors, stairways and other areas of the property
• Ensuring cleaning materials and equipment are used and stored correctly
• Reporting any damage, maintenance issues, hazards or safety concerns promptly
• Completing other reasonable cleaning and housekeeping duties as required

What you'll bring:

• The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of Health & Safety and follow all relevant procedures at all times. This includes:
• Using cleaning products and chemicals safely and correctly
• Following COSHH and safe-working procedures where applicable
• Using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Identifying and reporting hazards, spillages or unsafe conditions
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection prevention
• Ensuring cleaning equipment is safely stored after use
