Job summary

Kids Inc in Donaghmede, Dublin, is recruiting a Part-Time, Term-Time Cleaner to maintain a hygienic, safe, and welcoming environment for children and staff. You will clean classrooms, communal areas, toilets, and surfaces, following health and safety procedures to keep the centre in top condition.

The role offers €14.15 per hour, 2 hours per evening, Monday to Friday, with a guaranteed minimum of 10 hours per week and in-house training, plus career progression within the nationwide organisation.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• A reliable, hardworking approach to work.
• Good attention to detail and pride in cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and manage cleaning tasks efficiently.
• Full driving licence is an advantage but not essential.
• Willingness to complete Garda Vetting and reference checks.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining the centre to a high standard.
• Clean classrooms, communal areas, toilets, and other areas of the centre.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitise surfaces.
• Ensure cleaning products and equipment are used safely and appropriately.
• Empty bins and maintain general cleanliness throughout the centre.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
• Report maintenance, cleaning, or health and safety issues to the Centre Manager.
• Help ensure the centre remains safe, clean, and welcoming for children and staff.

We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time, Term-Time Cleaner to join our team in Donaghmede.

About the Role

As a Cleaner with Kids Inc, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment for the children and staff who use our service.

You will be responsible for ensuring the centre is cleaned and maintained to a high standard, helping to create a safe and comfortable environment each day.

Working Hours

Monday-Friday, 2 hours per evening

What You'll Be Doing

• Cleaning and maintaining the centre to a high standard
• Cleaning classrooms, communal areas, toilets, and other areas of the centre
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
• Ensuring cleaning products and equipment are used safely and appropriately
• Emptying bins and maintaining general cleanliness throughout the centre
• Following health, safety, and hygiene procedures
• Reporting any maintenance, cleaning, or health and safety issues to the Centre Manager
• Helping to ensure the centre remains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and staff

What We're Looking For
