Job description

This role involves the daily opening and closing of the Centre, ensuring it is securely locked each evening, responding to Out of Hours Calls, and managing the cleaning and maintenance of the Centre. The duties include complying with Health & Safety Regulations and IPC guidelines, and performing any other related tasks.

Security Duties :

Opening the building in the morning and closing it in the evening. Ensuring that the buildings are secure, with all doors and windows properly locked when not in use.

Cleaning Duties :

Following cleaning schedules to keep the buildings clean by hoovering, sweeping, dusting, and emptying bins each evening. Washing floors in clinical rooms, toilets, canteen, handrails, and doors.

Filling liquid soaps, hand hygiene gels, and hand towels in all clinical rooms and the canteen. Maintaining toilets in a clean and hygienic condition, ensuring the availability of soap, toilet paper, and hand towels.

Washing paintwork such as skirting boards, doors, and window frames as needed to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.

Ensuring the grounds are kept in a clean and acceptable condition.

General Duties :

Maintaining an adequate supply of cleaning stock and controlling stock levels. Keeping outside storage units orderly.

Working 20 hours per week initially, increasing to 39 hours. Hourly rate: 17.35 €.
