Job summary

Sanofi in Waterford, Ireland, is hiring for a Clean Utilities Specialist Technician on a 23-month fixed-term contract. The role operates on a 2-shift pattern with on-call shifts and focuses on preventive and corrective work orders for critical water systems in a GMP setting.

The successful candidate will ensure compliance with HSE requirements, support continuous improvement for maintenance operations, and assist CAPA investigations related to unplanned utility disruptions or excursions.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent.
• Experience operating GMP utility systems in pharmaceutical or high-purity settings.
• Training/certification and experience in maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Develop corrective actions to address clean utilities compliance and safety risks.
• Identify reliability and maintainability and HSE improvement opportunities for critical utility systems.
• Provide feedback to reliability engineering and P&S teams.
• Utility area organization and safety including tools and equipment.
• Maintenance plans, procedures and work instructions.

About the job

The successful candidate will ensure timely execution and completeness of preventive and corrective work orders for critical water systems. Ensures all maintenance work performed on equipment is aligned with HSE requirements i.e. Permits LOTO PTW Support continuous improvement for maintenance operations Support investigations and development of CAPAs for unplanned utility disruptions or EM excursions.

About you

• Technical degree or equivalent
• Experience operating GMP utility systems in pharmaceutical or other high-purity production settings, e.g. semiconductor food beverage
• Training certification and experience in maintenance
• In depth equipment knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Working knowledge of purchasing systems and CMMS
• GMP Compliance experience
