Job summary

APCOA is seeking a Clamping Enforcement Officer for Cork. This part-time role involves patrolling private car parks, applying wheel clamps where needed and advising motorists. You’ll work outdoors, drive between sites, and provide professional service to the public.

The role includes full training, a company vehicle during working hours, and a rotating weekend rota. A Garda check and references are required, with a positive, independent work approach valued.

Qualifications

• Full clean manual driving licence – cannot accept an N licence.
• Over 21 years of age (insurance requirement).
• At least two years’ driving experience.
• Able to pass a Garda Vetting / criminal record check.
• Able to provide two employment references.

Clamping Enforcement Officer - Part Time

Driver needed - Cork Area (manual driving license we cannot accept N plate)

€14.15 per hour & monthly enforcement bonus

As a Clamping Enforcement Officer with APCOA, you’ll patrol private car parks across Cork, ensuring parking regulations are followed on behalf of our clients. You’ll drive between sites, issue parking notices, apply wheel clamps where appropriate and provide clear, professional advice to motorists. This is an important public facing role that requires confidence, resilience and excellent customer service.

Before you apply... as this role isn’t for everyone.

You’ll spend most of your working day:

• Working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Driving between multiple sites
• Walking throughout your shift
• Lifting and fitting wheel clamps (approximately 18kg)
• Working independently for much of the day
• Dealing professionally with customers who may be upset or frustrated
• Following procedures accurately and consistently

However, if you enjoy working on your own, keeping busy and remaining calm under pressure, you’ll find this a rewarding and varied role.

Essential Requirements
